Research on Hole Collapse Monitoring Technology of Coal Seam Gas Extraction Boreholes

It is difficult to monitor the collapse position of a gas extraction borehole in coal seam. In order solve this problem, fiber-optic grating monitoring technology was proposed. Five kinds arrangements (0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°) were examined simulate hole collapse. The relationship model between center wavelength offset and amount collapsed flow constructed obtain distribution curve quality along length hole, decay rates 80% 50% used as critical values classify three levels results show that accuracy highest with measurement points located below substrate material arrangement. Finally, effectiveness verified 2202 working face Changcun mine Lu’an Group, pure from repaired after increased by 62.6% compared before repair.
